Several tourist trails run across the territory of Gmina Kalwaria Zebrzydowska (administrative district):

Green trail from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska to Maków Podhalański.

Black trail goes from Lanckorona across Żar mountain, Łękawica, Jaroszowicka mountain, Czartak to Wadowice. The trail connects The Maków Beskids (Beskid Makowski) with the Little Beskids (Beskid Mały).

Blue trail running across Kalwaria is a part of a long-distance trail from Brzeźnica to Łopuszna.

Yellow trail leads from Kalwaria Zebrzydowska through Zarzyce Wielkie to Podchybie and further to Radziszów; its continuation westwards is a trail from Wadowice via villages lying in the Wieliczka Foothills (Pogórze Wielickie): Stanisław Dolny, Wysoka, Babice, and Witanowice.

Pope’s walking trail

The Pope’s walking trail is marked in yellow. It is a loop leading along the streets of Kalwaria. It links sites connected with Pope John Paul II’s visit to Kalwaria Zebrzydowska.

Walking trail of Sister Izabela

The trail, which is marked in green, starts at the cemetery gate in Zebrzydowice. It goes past the religious house of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, then reaches the figure of Our Lady on the residential estate Solca Zebrzydowska on the slope of Krowia hill and connects with the yellow trail.

Walking trail Kalwaria Czerna – Bernardines’ Monastery

The trail is marked in black. It goes from the restaurant “Łojkówka” on Jagiellońska street and reaches the south-west side of the monastery on the edge of the forest.

Cycling trails

Cycling trails in the area of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska are moderately difficult. They connect the most beautiful observation points in the Wieliczka Foothills and The Maków Beskids. Thanks to their variety the trails are an interesting option for family outings or individual sightseeing. You can find recreation trails as well as routes for more advanced cyclists.
